Nigeria sympathasis with Italy earthquake victims
President Muhammadu Buhari has communicated profound distress and sensitivity for Italy over the deadly earthquake that has asserted more than 200 lives in the focal parts of the nation.
In an announcement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Garba Shehu, the president said: "My heart and petitions go out to the general population of Italy as of now of national grieving, brought about by the staggering tremor."
Buhari told the Italian Prime Minister, Mr. Matteo Renzi, that his family, the legislature and the general population of Nigeria shared the sorrow of Italian subjects over this savage normal catastrophe.
